Now I realize this is old news by now, however, I never got to voice my opinion on the matter.
A girl from my high school was the girl on the news that kicked in that plaster column in the bathroom at the Bruins game a couple weeks ago.
I know it certainly was not the smartest thing to do- and I doubt it was her proudest moment. Yet, the girl is a good kid. She was drinking and being stupid and made a mistake.
Yet, it was her face posted as the TOP news story of the night on seven news when the video surfaced. Kind of crazy? I just feel like there are so many more important things to focus on than petty vandalism that cost 8 bucks worth of plaster to patch up.
The news literally stated "the Boston Police are looking for more information regarding the woman in the video, if you have any information please contact the Boston Police."
A little much. She ended up turning herself in and when she walked into the police station I was told the police were laughing at her. It wasn't as big of a deal as the media made it out to be- although I feel like thats a common trend these days.
Media hypes shit up since the dawn of man. Do you really think that sharks infest our beaches during the summer or kids are constantly killing each other or themselves over bullying? It was hilarious as shit that the girl kicked the wall in, i would've gave her a high five if i was you
